Welcome to the Website of the Friends of Bocking Blackwater

We are an informal organisation, with membership open to anyone with an interest in the conservation of the open space, in Braintree, bordered by Rivermead, Fairview and Kings Park Housing Areas and the River Blackwater.

The Friends of Bocking Blackwater were formed in 2007 and since then we have worked to improve the area, carrying out maintenance and clean up work to enhance and develop the area for enjoyment of the community and benefit of the resident wildlife.
